Flirting or what else?

I would ask the friend what was up with the new server and tell your friend to tell his trainee that behavior was not cool with you.

Ditto; maybe the guy just has no clue how to flirt, or doesn't know that he has to earn your trust before he can do those kinds of things. He may be this way with everyone.

Socialization is a hard thing to master, especially concerning women. Girls should be required to tell all guys, up front, how she likes to be flirted with. It'd make things much easier for everyone.
