Ok, my ex boyfriend and I broke up a little over 7 months ago. We were in love and had plans to be engaged. He moved to my town from half way across the country. The reasons we broke up were because he missed his friends and family (he had no one here not even a friend), I was enrolled at college, and he was just plane miserable (he hated where I lived). Therefore, he went to visit his family for a month. Well the long distance was a major transition for us, (we were living together), and he didn't want to come back. We were fighting and completely horrible to each other, so I ended it, and said why don't we resume when we have our lives together. He did not like that idea and got very angry so we did not talk to each other up until 3 months ago. He called me and we talked and were civil with each other. That was the last time I talked to him until he started emailing me. We have been talking almost everyday now but his responses keep getting shorter. He is also finally doing something with his life (which is why we got into a major fight). Now I'm not sure what to do. He told me he regrets not being with me and the way he treated me, and that I deserve better then him, but I think differently. I know I am still in love with him, but I'm not sure if I should tell him. Now in his emails, he is telling me to call him but I am honestly still very nervous and not ready to talk to him on the phone. Should I tell him? On the other hand, should I try to get some information out of him first, like if he's still in love with me, or what his reasoning is for talking to me again? Please help!

Calm down sweetie, you just have to follow your heart. If you love him then love him. Make sure he loves you and find out what his intenshions are first. You do not have to do anything that you do not want to do. If anything and you want to be with him then do it. Just make sure that he is never going to treat you the way he did before and make sure that your not going to do the same as you did before. Its your life and you only get one crack at it.
