I've been on about 5 dates with a guy, and it seems as though he already sees me as his girlfriend. He introduced me as his girlfriend to someone, he calls me to know how my day went, etc,.

My question: Is it offensive to him, if I don't call him or text him to see how he's doing or to let him know I'm thinking about him, every so often? He's done it before (not much of course, since we recently started dating) and I love it. But I'm not sure if I should be doing the same.
I don't want to scare him off! But at the same time I don't want him to think I don't care. What's the happy medium in this situation? He's 28 years old.


By the way, usually we have a future date coming up but this time we don't. We've established things we want to do together, so I know we'll be seeing each other, but I don't know when exactly our next date is. I'm going to see him at work tomorrow (He works at a bar) and I'm bringing my friends, which he knows. So I was thinking of calling him or texting him? On Sunday to confirm that I was coming. If I do that, it isn't necessary that I text or call him tomorrow right? Just to see how he is doing?

Do you wonder how he is doing? If so call or text him, he does that with you.
If you don't feel like calling him don't, but don't not do because you feel it may be unnecessary.
I don't see the problem with checking up on a person.
