I'm jules I'm 16 and a month ago I was asked out by a guy I had already dated two times before. He had been very sweet in asking me out and said he loved me and stuff and that he had changed over the summer and is more mature (lol). Since we have similar Christian values and love horses I said yes. Just this Sunday, I was in a play that I had invited him to go in advance a month ago and his response was " no offense, but no.” So I was a little sad with him not coming and his friend has a girlfriend he had been dating for a week and he went and brought her a flower. So I said over text message, " so and so brought so and so a flower, I said that’s nice, it's funny to see his soft side". Then He called him fatty and all his sides are soft and I said I wasn’t trying to make him feel bad and that he was muscular. So all throughout the day he had texted me (1st) and said I was beautiful and stuff. So then I said I had a bad dream about us, and he wanted to know what happened and I told him that I had a dream he kissed me then broke up with me and was being mean. Then after I told him I joked and said I woke up pissed and thought maybe god sent it as a sign and then he said god was right! Randomly I asked why and he said two of his friends said I flirt with a bunch of guys and that guy who I said brought his girl a flower was 1 he mentioned.

After I said that was absurd and he should have asked me about it he said well there was another reason, and it was that one of those two boys said that when I'm with my friends I tell too many perverted jokes and someone would have to be stupid and dumb to take me seriously (random ouch). While he was texting me these things, my mom and I were texting, and she said to tell him to be a man and at least call and talk to me. I did say that and he said are you that dumb and he said are you really that desperate to challenge my manhood?

I was hurt. I would never have mentioned his friend and the flower if I would have known he was a taboo subject and that his friend who I'm still not sure which 1 was accusing me of flirting with. So I was very pissed and hurt. My now ex-boyfriend had said he was lying for the past few days about loving me. (Ouch again) So when I went to school I only told 1 person because I needed help getting my things out of his locker. Throughout the day people commented on my boyfriend and I and said well, we broke up last night. They of course ask why and I told them. Yes I liked that they thought my ex is jack. 9 people ended up asking me (this was Monday) now today that boy who gave the girl the flower told me that what I said about my boyfriend and I breaking up was twisted to he was cheating on her with me, and it got to his girlfriend! She was at first mad, but her boyfriend explained and her best friend asked me why I was saying that and I explained that I didn’t and what I really said. She is a reasonable person, so I think she will let it go.

I just want someone to analyze this story for me and give me advice and tell me what I should do and if I was bad for telling people who asked why me and my boyfriend broke up. I never expected me telling people why my boyfriend and I broke up would hurt that guy and his girl. Hope someone can help. Thanks

What I get is high school drama and a bunch of people putting their two cents into everyone's business. Typical 15/16 year old behavior. It will blow over with the next big drama.

It does not matter. It was neither good or bad. In High School everything is a big deal. It will blow over.
