My boyfriend is clingy and jealous

I have been going out with my boyfriend for about 6 months and we're very much in love but he calls me 3 times every single day! It was really sweet at the beginning of our relationship. He used to call and say good morning and then later he'd call and say good night but now it's out of control. When, for whatever reason, I am unable to take his calls, he gets annoyed and accuses me of cheating! Whenever I go and see him, he asks me where I've been and who I was with. I'm not sure whether I should leave him because I really love him but can we have a healthy relationship when he doesn't trust me?

Tell him that.

Trust is not an unreasonable demand, it is a necessity.

You can't debate with or argue away jealousy. All you can do is point at it and say, "Not my problem."

When he acts jealous or gives you the third degree, lay down the law. "I have to tell you that I've decided to give you three warnings on the jealousy, controlling stuff. OK? Consider this is your first warning."

Mean it.

I totally agree with every one else except for one thing. If he is a control freak or extremely jealous it likely will never end. He has a compulsion to be in total control of you and your life. This can be a very dangerous situation. Please be very careful and if he does not take the first warning, RUN! Do what ever is necessary to distance yourself from him, and protect yourself from bodily harm.
