Sunday in Philly

Big day Sunday in Philly .

It starts Saturday night when Pearl Jam will perform in the last event at the Spectrum.
That should end sometime after midnight ...enough time to go home ,grab a quick snooze and get the tailgate party ready.
Then Sunday at 1PM the Giants are at "The LINC " to beat the [b]Eagles .
That should last until 4-4:30 PM . Time enough to grab a cheese steak on the way to Citizen's Bank Park to watch the Yanks beat the Phillies.

Here in NY it will be all Fox Sports all the time (unless you are an unfortunate Jets fan) . Game one is the Giants v Eagles ...Game 2 is the Vikings loss to the Packers(sorry Brett ;this time it aint in a dome) ... time for a quick dinner and shower before settling down to Watch the Yanks whip the Phillie cheese.

To top it all off there's a fanatasy Football match up of very interested parties. Will Spit's team be the unmovable force against my runaway train ?

FF ...I gots the Bye week blues . One would think that a D from an undefeated team would be a plus on the roster .

Giants are in meltdown. You would think they would learn by now to just hold onto the ball before half time . They get burned more often in the last 2 min of the half then any other team I've seen.

Ordinarily I'd play starting RB's over a 3rd WR
There aren't than many stud RBs because of the split playing times . I think the flex can go either way.

I should have went with my gut and picked up the Cowboys D on a couple of teams.

But the good news is the Boys are on a roll. Romo Hit 10 different receivers yesterday and for the 1st time hasn't thrown a pick in 3 games. Roy Williams even caught a TD.

You mean like Houston benching Slaton and Moats getting 3 td's and Sims-Walker getting a goose egg?

Moved up to 4th place with my win over Tom this week. I can't believe that Eagles game. Phillies are going to give me a heart attack with the way they are playing. If they some how pull this out Chase Utley is going to become the unofficial mayor of Philly.

If the Yanks could've extended the inning one more I think they would've tied it up.

Utley's doing the job at the plate I wish Texiera was doing. Remind me to draft him for FBB . Who's pitching tomorrow ? Pedro ? Will Victorino gut it out ?

Pedro is pitching tomorrow. Victorino is going to play tomorrow. I thought he was going to explode yesterday when Manual took him out.

That's the feeling I had, too. If you have to consistenly score 7 runs to win championship baseball games, you are in trouble.

I said the same thing to my wife last night. We have to score 8 or 9 runs to win and that is not good.

you were right about the amt of runs the Phillies would need to win. I still don't understand not using the lefty starter in 2 Yankee stadium games.
