God rest his soul . I have read National Review for some time ;but Buckley had been pretty much semi-retired by the time I started .

To borrow from the article, a remarkable "polysyllabic" institution. I rarely watched Firing Line but I used to read his columns...with a dictionary nearby of course. May God rest his soul and his legacy continue...
