He is running as an independent because the 2 candidates for the Democrats are not far enough to the left for his tastes . lol The truth is that Nader is an anti-semite . That is his real reason for running He says Obama sold out to the Israelis .

He's not taking a leadership position in supporting the Israeli peace movement, which represents former Cabinet ministers, people in the Knesset, former generals, former security officials, in addition to mayors and leading intellectuals. One would think he would at least say, "Let's have a hearing for the Israeli peace movement in the Congress," so we don't just have a monotone support of the Israeli government's attitude toward the Palestinians and their illegal occupation of Palestine.

Ok normally I would encourage Democrats to support a Nader candidacy just because anything that pushes them further left than they already are improves their chances of defeat. But the American people have got to make it very clear to Nader that his time is gone. Go crawl under the rock you came from already !

I think after 5 tries, he doesn't expect to win, but he does enjoy being a spoiler. Will it work? I don't think so this time. The democrats are putting up record numbers as far as total votes go, so his impact may not mean as much.

If it is a close election ;and I don't see why it can't be ; his 2-3% could be decisive.

I kinda doubt that his will be the only indi challenge this year. If Ron Paul loses the primary for his Congressional seat expect him to revive his run or go independent.

I agree with you on Mr. Nader. He should have long since been put to bed, politically speaking. I liked his consumer advocacy but not his politics.

Adversity makes you stronger, and he is still on a roll. He still has been speaking to jam packed audiences in Texas so far. The money is pouring in. 60 million, in Feb. so far?? Record voter registrations, in just Texas?? I need bad weekends like that.

I'm sure he appreciates an endorsment from screwy Louie like McCain would if he got one from David Duke. I know the dinosaur media would have a field day if that were to happen . I guess the question is will the press hold him to the same standard ?
