Sen. Dianne Feinstein ,chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee opened her fat piehole yesterday and disclosed to the world that the Predators patrolling Afghanistan and the Pakistan border tribal areas take off from a Pakistan air base .
How stupid is she ? She said that she was suprised by Pakistan's public opposition to the drones since they were taking off from a base inside Pakistan. Her spokesperson Philip J. LaVelle said they got the information from the Washington Compost. But why would she need an MSM source given her access to intel as the Committee chair ?
According to Bruce Hoffman, a terrorism expert at Georgetown University;
"If accurate, what this says is that Pakistani involvement, or at least acquiescence, has been much more extensive than has previously been known," . "It puts the Pakistani government in a far more difficult position [in terms of] its credibility with its own people. Unfortunately it also has the potential to threaten Pakistani-American relations."
These inadvertent leaks happen too often with Democrats in postions with access to sensitive information to be a coincidence.
But then again ;this Afghan war and the war against AQ is supposed to be the good war . Why would she intentionally undermine it ? Maybe she is that stupid.
