Back up a few words before that and it's there...
In the US there is a legal concept of severability in laws... it determines if portions of laws can be held invalid without tossing out the entire law. If it is or isn't depends on the exact wording of the law.

Apparently Obamacare doesn't have a serverability clause.

That's what I remember them ruling on... since it can't be implied.. but has to be specifically written into the law that it is.
A well written law does... otherwise any one part that's ruled unconstitutional means the entire thing is.

Yes , if SCOTUS found the personal mandate unconstitutional then conceivably the whole law could've been struck. However ,instead Chief Justice Roberts found a new definition for the word "tax " .

The left keeps doing that... and has for decades... we can do it too... besides... another 3.5 years and the terrorist in chief WILL be forever OUT of the white house... and even before then when we take back the Senate.. we can bury a rider into every law and bill that repeals it... like so many other things get hidden.. and when he signs is.. it will stop being law.
The left doesn't give up trying to ram interspecies marriage down everyone's throats... or trying to repeal the second amendment... we aren't going to stop until this is repealed... no matter how long it takes.

If you can't define a marriage as between a man and a woman... then legally anything goes.

True but I think (or hope ) that humans draw the line with bestiality . However ,it does open the door to polygamy... and possibly age of consent laws.

Ramming ANYTHING but HETEROSEXUAL marriage down out throats is all the same... and you don't even have to leave this forum to find ample evidence of that.

So that's your logic: unless the government is ramming ramming uniquely heterosexual marriage to all citizens it is ramming inter-species marriage (such as a spider and a dolphin) down your throat. Did I get that right?

It's come to this...
'Raise your voice, not your hands,' cops urge as Zimmerman verdict looms
That's right, Broward county is running a PSA telling people not to riot if George Zimmerman is acquitted, which if the prosecution's handling of the case indicates is likely to happen. So what are they saying by running such a PSA?
