The 4 year rule applies only if the person is 14 of 15 years old. Since she is 17, above 16, there is no limit on what age of a person can have sex with her.
When I was 17 I went out with a 26 year old man and it emotionally scarred me for life - and still does. At 26 / 29, these people are grown men who use their image as an adult to influence us, as children at the age of 17. We think we know what we are doing, we think we are mature enough to make our own decisions, but for me, it ended in heartache, broken relationships and friendships and devastated aftermath of personal emotional destruction. I hated myself for a very long time for being so stupid......
What the, 17 isn't a child anymore. In my old Country an Adult dating a 15 isn't frown uppon.
I think it is this American mentality that brainwash people that make them think it is sick. Yes relation don't work out sometime but it has nothing to do with age. I could have dated someone twice my age which was my soul mate, but with those stupid mentality it made impossible.
It is time for people to not treat teens like kids.
