Will probation violation land me in jail

I got introuble 6 months ago and got six months probation ,30 days in jail all but 5 days suspended and lost my license.So I can't drive and live 40 miles from my probation officer. Today she ordered me to come and take a drug test, I can't find a ride there and she says she's giving me a probation violation if I don't show up. This is my first probation violation do you think Ill get put in jail?

Very likely, did you ask her how you were to get there ?

Did you call her and let her know you would not show up.

If this is a private probation company they are less likely to violate you.

But you need to be calling her and seeing what you can do

Sounds like you have a jerk for a P.O. I'm not too sure what they'll do if you don't show up for the testing. He/She wouldn't reschedule an appointment for you? He/She probably thinks you're trying to hide something. (NOT saying you are!) That's probably why he/she said they'd put you in violation.
