Will I pass an EtG test after drinking 12 beers
I drank twelve beers from noon until 730 on Sunday and took the EtG urine test at 5 pm on Monday, on Monday morning I worked out pretty hard as I always do and drank a good amount of water throughout the day urinating frequently prior to the test, also by eleven oclock on Sunday night I was already blowing .000 because of how much water I drank while consuming alc at the same time and sweating it out working.out that same night, is there anyway I could have passed and is there anything reasonable.i.could use as.an.excuse.for a false positive?

No... just man-up and tell them you are going to drink if you want...

Why are you having to take the test, is it criminal court ( like probation or parole?) family court, for custody or visits, or employment testing.
Did you know ahead of time about the test or was it a surprise test ?
If you know you are not suppose to be drinking, what excuse do you use to justify breaking the rules. If you fail what is the penalty and is it worth the risk ?

Is there anything that could cause a false positive
That didn't really help telling me to man up, I'm facing prison time potentially and its for probation and of corse it was a surprise

If you knew you weren't supposed to drink and you knew you would possibly be facing prison time, why did you drink?

No. Even given the unreliable and erratic performance of EtG testing you will still have high amounts of EtG in system at that time interval (<24 hr).

First no we did not know "of course" we have people here every day, who know they are going to have a test on a certain day and want to know if they can drink tonight or that they drank last night and have a test in two days.
In love, have you considered a program to help you with your problem, since if you have to drink, even knowing doing so can put you in prison, this has to be a serious problem. I am over 20 years sober and it can be hard, what have you tried, or have you tried?

Are you now trying to make up an excuse for drinking? Are you trying to blame it on something else?

False positives are very frequent with this test. They usually measure in the range of 300-800 ng/mL. Your reading will be far in excess of that range in all likelihood. Anywhere from 3-10X higher. High readings are never given the benefit of the doubt.
Further, in case of a false positive you could request a blood test for PEth, MCV, etc. Of course, you can't do that because either test would serve to substantiate your drinking. On the other hand a probation officer or agency can require a second test by alternative method in confirmation. In fact they may require it. Therefore it is probably not a good idea to claim test error.
You are in a tough position. Have some difficult choices to make. Think it through and don't make things worse. Wish you the best.

Then you knew you weren't supposed to be doing it and you did it anyway... so who do you have to blame? Seriously... whos fault do you think it is? Maybe jail will get it into your head that anything to excess is bad. And 12 beers in one day is drinking to excess by anyone but a drunks standards.
Hell, if I drank that many Pepsi's in a day it would give me problems... or Iced Teas... 12 is a LOT of beer.
And incidentally... they are smarter than most drunks... they check for people that try to mask it by drinking excessive ammounts of water thinking they can simply pee it out. Your liver has to metabolize the alcohol... you don't simply pee it out.
Maybe a failed test is what you need to make you come to grips with the reality you have a real problem that #1. You have to own up to... and #2. Recognise you are in dire need of help for... because so far its clear you deny both of those.
Some people have to hit rock bottom before they own up to it... you appear to be one of those...

Will I pass my EtG test 36 hours after 2 beers
[ 7 Answers ]
I had two 12 oz (Utah) beers in one hour, finishing at 11:30 pm on Wednesday night. I need to take an ETG around noon on Friday. I am female, 5'5, about 165 lbs. Is that enough time to pass?
