what do I do with this case?

My daughter's husband was arrested for violating an oop on a domestic violence case that the have. At the time of his courtdate, his two sister came to my apartment,we argued,one attacked me and I defended myself (with my hands).I am disable and on SSD. I was arrested along with one of the sisters. So, now I have a court date but no one is listening to the whole story. How do I defend myself?

If you are unable to pay for an attorney you may request the court appoint a public defender to handle your case. You do this at your arraignment (this is when you plead guilty or not guilty).

You want and really need an attorney, The fact it was at your house helps, but often being innocent is not enough. You need to get an attoreny and not make any statements without an attorney
