I am planning on flying to Hawaii for a weeklong vacation but I'm very skeptical about buying a ticket. I believe that I may have a warrant for my arrest in my town because of old unpaid court fines, and another in a different county for not adhering to my probation guidelines (ie. got out of jail and never reported back). Both are result of seperate misdemeanor cases and I am also a convicted felon but not on papers anymore. I realize that I'm risking quite a bit of money to go on vacation, and to get arrested in an airport and lose all that money is something I don't want to do. So...

...Will this keep me from being able to go on vacation? Or am I safe to buy a ticket and go? Do airports and the government check for warrants when you purchase a ticket to fly out of state, not allowing you to fly if you have one?

Any information on this topic would be much appreciated.
