Violation of Probation

My boyfriend has a sex crime. He spent 5 yrs in a state prison and was released with 5 yrs probation. He has been out and on probation for 16 months. He has been to all visits with his Probation officer, classes and has never gotten in trouble. In August he was involved in a car accident. He stopped at the accident and told the other person he was in a hurry because he had court. He gave his info but it was all false except for his Drivers License number. The next morning two police come to his home and give him a ticket for reckless driving with a fine and a ticket to appear in court for Hit and run. They did not arrest him. Three weeks later he was arrested. He had his Pre-Trial hearing today. They posted not eligible for bond and has another court hearing in 3 weeks. So do you think he will have to finish his probation of 4 yrs in prison or will they give him a yr in jail? We are expecting our first child (son) in February and I want him there for he birth. What do you think will happen?
