Ok so About 5 months ago me and my friend were caught stealing from this cheapo store at the mall, my friend was the one stealing, it was in her bag not mine but I got introuble to. I got 6 months probation and community service, well today me and my friend were caught at wal mart for shoplifting again it was 58 dollars for me cause some of it was hers, I'm only 17 but I vilated my probation and I also got a speeding ticket... Will I be going to jail or getting longer probation and a fine?? I know my descion was wrong and I know I wont EVER steal again... I am scared less and really hope I dont go to jail... someone please help...

when you were arrested and got probatoin the first time, was it as a adult or as a juv ?

That can make a large difference. Also normally if two people are shoplifting together, they are often both charged with the total they both stole,

Your best bet is to hire an attorney, and also notify your PO as soon as possible. not telling them often gets you into more trouble than the actual violation itself. It is possible they will make you do some jail time but most likely fines, and more probation

Lol I never said I didnt take full responsibility for my actions, I know what I did was wrong, I know it was my own decsion to do it not anyone elses, my friend didnt force me to do it, I did it on my own and I understand this I also understand how bad of a choice I made. And I didnt tell my po officer as soon as it happened. I am scared I can tell you that but I dont mind its scring me enough to never do it again...
