what is the statue of limitations on theft by deception in ky

recently i had a warrant put on me for a check that is over 7 yrs old. has the statue of limitations ran out on that?

Fr_Chuck Christianity Expert Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Atlanta GA Posts: 24,893	I would say if the judge issues a warrant, I would guess not. was there an older warrant and this may have been re-issues, since a warrant does not expire. Your trouble now is that there is a warrant and as soon as they find you, you will be in jail, so you need an attorney even if it is over the SOL
