hi everyone,

im 19, live in ontario and a few months back i did a really really stupid and impulsive act of theft under 5000, i've already gone through fingerprinting and my court date is tomorrow, i hear that first day is just to enter a plea, and you would have to come in again for the sentencing, i've set up a pre-trial with the crown and i was just wondering what is done at the pre-trial? What exactly happens on the first hearing??

also if i end up having to do community service approximately how many hours is the norm for first time offenders?
