Lets say that my boyfriend is 24 and i'm 17 in the state of Illinois and we've had sex would that be considered as rape?

Well I would say that I hope your parents do have a problem with it,

But according to my list 17 is the age of consent in Il. Now there are perhaps some other issues that the parent can come up with, if they order you not to see him, and tell him, ( interfering with custody) (leading to the deliquency of a minor) and others.
