Second DUI and First Driving on a Suspended without knowledge

Is it possible to get a 2nd dui reduced to wreckless driving. i'm currently working on my pre-requisites that i needed for the nursing program. i'm applying for nursing school in Jan. and this charge is going to really mess up my life unless i can get it reduced. i also got a ticket for driving on a suspended license without knowledge. that would be my first driving on a suspended without knowledge. I would like to get whatever it is suspending it taken care of. PLEASE HELP ME!

wait. let me get this straight. you got one DUI, after all of the don't drink and drive campaign warnings that are out there. you didn't learn from that. and you got a second one. but you think you're qualified to be a nurse and take care of others when you can't even figure out to stop drinking and driving?! you do realize that drinking and driving KILLS people, right? i hope it messes up your life. think of how messed up someone else's life would be if you'd killed a loved one while you were driving under the influence.

now, about finding out about your suspended license. my friend found out when she went to renew hers that it had been suspended. the dmv was able to tell her why, numerous unpaid tickets (she didn't update her address with them when she moved so she never received any of the things she'd mailed her). have you tried that yet?

Hello nurse:

Anything is possible in our system. Will they reduce it??? I dunno. But, the better your lawyer is, the more likely they'll be to work with him.

The above notwithstanding, I think the first DUI ended your nursing career.

Florida was one of the first states that got tough with drunk and/or impaired drivers. You definitely should expect the worst case scenerio on this 2nd one. If you have a very talented, expensive attorney MAYBE he can do something about it. And I said very talented and expensive. So don't think you'll get off using any Ticket Clinic guy or an attorney who charges less than 2G's for starters.

And the nursing career as Exie said above, just may have gone down the drain anyway. You need to check with the Nurses Licensing Agency in Florida to see if at this point you could even hold a Florida nurse's license having already been convicted of one DUI.
