    Am I able to be violated before a conviction on a new charge

    Did you report the new charges to your PO right away after the incident? If no, then you could be violated for that. And since you were arrested on something new, technically they could violate you on the new charge.

    Should they be able to, with that innocent till proved guilty ? No, are they able to under the rules of probation, yes they can.

    It is a serious violation not to report and more people serve time for that, than the actual crime, esp for minor things.
