pistol permit

i want to obtain a pistol permit....but there is a felony from 4 years ago on my record....is there any possible way to obtain one....and if not how bout a shotgun....is it possible and if so how

If you live in the U.S., I don't know of any state that would permit you to have a firearm of any kind once you have been convicted of a felony. I may be wrong, but I do believe that to be a fact.

If you live in a country other than the U.S., please let us know the name of the country.

If you had been convicted of, say, bank fraud, or maybe selling a little dope, then you could get your right to gun ownership back in maybe 10 years or so.

However, I note that your conviction was gang related and was violent in nature. Therefore, Dude, IMHO they ain't NEVER gonna give you permission to own ANY gun - EVER.
