a number called my sisters cell asking me saying he had some work for me to do, a long story short he was full of it, he told her my father gave him her number when he didnt! and so my mom called him back and he said some guy named dave told him about me (i dont know any dave) she asked his name and he wouldnt give it but thing is he didnt block his cell phone number and my question is how can i find out if thats his real name? any place i can go and type in a cell number to find a name?

no, there is no way to track a cell phone number, assuming it is a cell phone.

There are some reverse lookups like anywho.com. But they generally don't list cell phones.

Could be a creditor, an exboyfriend, salesman, or someone who got your name off a bathroom wall.

No way to know unless you call the number from a blocked number, and see who answers. They must not be too worried about it if they don't leave a call back number.

Might also be someone else out there with a similar name as yours?
