My husband is being accused of harrassment. He has worked for a woman for two years fixing her house. About 6m ago she started getting mean and cruell calls from her neighbor. He even said his name on the tapes when he was cussing her out. Now since my husband has been working for her for two years they are kind of friends. She would call us every day. If she didn't then my husband called her about work. She started calling us saying she was scared of her neighbor and what should she do. I was there when my husband told her to call the police. Long story short she went to them and they put a trap on her phone. The woman got two perverted calls, one she couldnt remember the time of and the other one she did. She never remembered to tape the convos so there is no real proof of what was said. The day of the call where she says she remembers the time, my husband called her very close to that to see if she was up so he could come over and start work. The other call also shows he called that day. He or She ALWAYS spoke practically every day. It used to drive me nuts. Now because of the time of those calls they are charging my husband with harrasment. How with no proof of the calls or exact time or even if there was a call can they do this. They are telling us to just take a deal where he would go to jail for 30 days and we would pay a 4,000 fine. How can they do any of this without any real proof. Shouldn't you have some concrete evidence before you can ruin peoples lives like this? Please help any advice would be wonderful.
