    How long does it takes to transfer your parole from Georgia to Alabama.
    Im just wondering how long does it take to transfer your parole from Georgia to Alabama. My roommate were in Alabama for two years without it being approved. She went back to ga to turn herself in. But her po says it will take about two weeks for the transfer to be approved... is that true?

    If she was there, and "turned herself in" she should be in jail waiting for a hearing to see if she had to serve jail time.

    Assuming she was in violation of her parole.

    If she was living there without permission, it is very very possible, they will not even allow it now.

    But if they do, two weeks is very fast, seldom is it done shorter than a month, even three months is not uncommon
