I have paid all the money back which i stole

I was questioned in taking money from work by means of refunding credit cards...I have paid it all back...can they still drop the charges...They may even give me my job back...I was a great employee that came across a really bad situation...Yes i am in maryland....Is there any chance the police wont file charges against me....

It is hard to say if they will drop the charges. Maybe they will because you paid it back. You didn't mention how much it was. I doubt that you will get your job back, again it just depends on your employer and the circumstances. If I were the employer, personally I probably wouldn't, just knowing that you had been tempted in the past and may be likely to do it again. Hopefully you have learned your lesson and it will all work itself out.

Normally if the business does not wish to follow up on the charges the police will not. If the store will hire you back, that goes along way

Hello rocky:

You're dreamin.............. No company is going to hire anybody back who ripped them off. I suggest you come back to reality before the courts do it for you.

You're in deep trouble. They're not only NOT going to drop the charges, they're going to try to send you away for AS LONG AS THEY CAN. What??? You think they're nice guys???? Like I say, you need to come back to earth.

Your former employer could go either way - depends how much of an issue they want to make out of this. And it may not be in the hands of your manager, it may come from higher up, so be prepared for anything. Why would they hire you back? Would you hire someone back who did that?
