It's not quite as simple as that.
Most likely, the charges he is being held on in Georgia, are simply to keep him locked up until he can be sent back to Ky.
Once in Ky, if convicted (and I wouldn’t be throwing him to the wolves so quickly), much about his sentence will have to do with many, many factors, such as his age, his record, his lawyer, his family support, his community support, his education, how much money he has, the influence of his family, his color, his reputation, his intelligence, his religion, the judge, the prosecutor, the town feelings, and even more.
