    GA Diagnostics Prison
Does anyone know what the Jackson Diagnostics center is? Has anyone been there before? What do they do there? And do they get visitation? My husband just went there Thursday so I don't know anything.

Are you speaking of the one in Georgia?

If so, I recommend you call the Georgia Dept. of Corrections and ask them what the visitation policy is.

    Hello S:

Call them up on the telephone. If I knew what state you were in, I'd look up the number for you. It's probably under the Department of Corrections.

Yes it is in Jackson Georgia,
They have several classes of inmates and visitation depends on their classification.

You can find out the address, the visit rules at their web site, also you can put money on their account and do an inmate search at

    || GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS ||

It is a nicely ran prison as prisons go, the Warden and staff are very professional and they will be treated well.

They will need if possible some extra money each month for some extra snacks. ( while they have good food, the dept of prison did cut on on food the last couple of years.

And yes I have been in ( not inmate) that and several other Georgia Facilities.

On visit, they tell you you can take 20 dollars in for snacks, that has to be in quarters and they can not be rolled, they need to be loose in a baggie
