Felony probation transfer

My younger sister would like to transfer her felony probation from Florida to South Carolina--she still owes the state of Florida fines, etc--does anyone know the requirements to transferring probation--is there a legal process, etc? Any insight would be most appreciated.

She would notify her probatoin officer, and they would make a request, Both the state they are leaving from, and the state they are going have to agree to the transfer.

If agreed to you will have to provide the probation officer normally before you go, where you will be living, working and other info.

But permission has to be gained before they move.

yes that is correct......if you do it backwards on a felony they will come get you.....its better to be safe and just ask permission and file paper work...they may require you to pay your fines off or set up a permanet plan incase you do not pay
