I have been trying to think of something that he would be eligible for to get out early since I saw your post yesterday. Can't think of anything other than if there is some kind of "good time" program where he is at. In other words if you voluntarily do some job for the institution such as being a meal server or working in the kitchen or washing the cop cars some places give you one day off your sentence for every 3 days worked. Some places don't offer this kind of incentive, some do. Have your husband look into this where he is now incarcerated and see what kind of programs they have to offer for working. It sure beats just sitting there doing nothing all day.

So why does he not want to take part in the program available, but I do not fully understand, if you are still at the "pre trial" phase that means he has not been tried in court yet, so he could not be sentenced yet.
And since he is looking at probation, not parole, it means he is not yet sentenced to prison yet either.
Can you please explain this in more details.
