credit card theft/fraud under $150.00

can someone answer a question for me?

I know someone that committed this crime so here is the senerio.....

Friend took a card from her friend and made a couple of charges under $150.00

The person whom is the victim called the friend' employer and now she is suspended from her employment until further notice.

The RCMP have not come to arrest my friend and have not contacted her to file charges

The employer is checking into this situation (CAN THEY ACCESS THIS INFO?)

My friend has called the local law line and they had stated that she call the victim and ask for them to withdraw their statement from the employer and work out a payback and an apology. My friend is scared of losing her job, being charged and has definatly lost sleep over this STUPID ACT.
