credit card debt

I live in the state of kentucky, how many years can pass by before a credit card company can not sue you over a debt? if they are trying to what do i do?

If it's open ended - a credit card - it's 5 years. That's 5 years from the last activity on the account - a payment, use of the card.

If it's out of Statute, that's your defense.

Is it?
