im 19, october. a full time college student. I live Canada, Ontario, Toronto, downtown. Caught in markham, and the other one in scarborugh which weren't caught/charged. And this would be my first offense.

i read many posts similar to this and actually gotten a slight idea. What happened was that me and a friend were taking a break from school which was two hours long and we decided to eat sushi in scarborough but suddenly, we relized that we were late for our classes so we decided to skip and go to costco since he had has a membership. We went there without the intention of stealing but we HAVE DONE IT BEFORE at another costco but we were not caught. So after walking around, my friend suggested to steal again (2nd time) so he acted first. He asked for my car keys and he had successfully gotten outside and placed the stolen merchandise in my car and came back in to make purchase of two merchandise (not the stolen ones). so ugh, when he came in for the two merchandises, he told me that he would wait outside for me and told me to hurry. Out of stupidity, i too opened a merchandise but it has taken me over 20 minutes+ to leave the store as the thought of this is wrong....soo ive been caught with OPENED merchandise which i had shuffled into my coat which was valued at $100 shortly after i had left a few step out the store.

I was dragged into a secuirity room which had cameras, and there i had saw my friend. We were basicly searched...yes they were found and the one in the car was recovered. We gaved our informations. The secuirity said what else have i stolen. I said just this...but when the police came in, telling us that the car will be searched and anything found will be used against me. (since i had the stolen merchandise in my car form the last time) ive told them that i did stolen a merchandise ($100) from another costco no more than 3 months ago. I believe we weren't not charged for the ones last time. but it was hard to tell since i was in quiet in a shock, and nervous...kinda joked a long the way to hide my fear. enough said, we were put under arrest and the police officers led us outside the their car with handcuffs... and given a slip of fingerprint, and court.

So ugh, i was given quiet an attitude when the police came...anyways, me and friend went to lawyer, today. They said to do the finger print, and pick up the documents from the court and return to them. Estimated 3-5k each. Anyways, its looking quiet bad. I would like the know the successful rate given by this scenario. At the whole time, we were quiet honest and treated not too bad but obvious under stress for our actions. I hope that we dont get criminal records since we're practically, mechanics....and thats important in the industry. Oh, and i dont believe i could afford this, which means i might have to consider LEGAL AID...otherwise i could ask parents to borrow money, but that kinda show some degree of disapointment since i have not told neither of them yet. (trying to save myself from the embarassment) ..and i guess i could tell them afterwards to show (independence). anyways, theres just too much going through my mind.

other information. jan 30th fingerprint, and in feb for to pick up document.

ps. im banned for life from going there, even the parking lot.
pss. i still have the merchandise (charger) that we werent caught for. I want to return this, but im not sure how. lol...gah, man, im stupid.
