Change of address denied by Probation officer
Hi everyone! My name is Sylvia,I have a niece (Vanessa) who was just released from Prison 2 weeks ago,she was supposed to go and live with one of her sisters, but her P.O. denied the change of address the 1st day she went 2 see her. Her reason was she did not like our ATTITUDES! Well let me explain how this mess came up. The person whom she is staying with is not even her biological Grandma,Vanessa just calls her that... she is the one who was telling VANESSA'S p.o. THAT WE HAD BEEN HARASSING HER,about a week before Vanessa's release! This is FALSE,her sisters or myself have never spoke to her of this.
We had thought already we will deal with this when she is released and goes to see her P.O. and then give her ,the new address. Vanessaq does not want to be there,ALL her co-defendents are in that area and Most of all the Grandma's biological grandson will be released from prison in about 2 weeks and he lives right around the corner. This woman HAS NEVER in Vanessa's 4YRS. Incarcerated had ever visit her or send her nothing,it has been MYSELF or her sisters! She will not provide transportation for her or anything. Vanessa has NO CURFEW,but this woman gives her one.. or else, she threaten her,she was 16yrs,when she got incarcerated she is now 20yrs. I know she is scared to say things,I mean for the last 4YRS,she has been told<What to do,When to do,How to do,etc. So PLEASE can someone give me and my nieces advice of what to do. Is this Probation officer in the right? Sorry this is so long:(

    Hello fay:

I don't know if the PO is right. I do know that the PO holds the keys to Vanessa's future, so even if the PO ISN'T right, the PO is right.
