Not at all. Having a felony prohibits ownership of any type of firearm.

Call the courthouse. You mean you don't know what you've been to jail for?

So what is it? Are you a felon or were you in an ARD program... or both? You already asked this question implying that you're a felon. If that is the case, again I have to say the answer is no.

No, not allowed regardless of WHAT level felony it is. If you were convicted of a felony then you are automatically excluded from owning a firearm unless you get a pardon from the governor of your state reestablishing your civil rights.

If you were convicted or plead guilty to a felony, what punishment you received does not matter. Also what level felony it is or was does not matter.

So if you have a felony on your record you can not legally purchase, legally own or even have a weapon in a position where you can get to it.

I will agree it is not completely fair, since many felony has little or nothing to do with weapons, but that is the law currently.

The law goes further than just a felony, any crime punishable by imprisonment over a year will also bar you. You can not even own ammunition.
