What is this in reference to? Like an application to have a speedy trial?

Application to revoke sounds like if you pressed charges on someone and had the chance to withdraw them. Please explain more.

Sounds pretty self explanatory to me. One seems to calling for a quicker sentencing hearing, the other to revoke the sentence.

someone violated their terms of probation and the state wants to file an application to accelerate. what will the courts do, and or what is application to revoke in the same manner.

See, the more you tell us the better we can answer. The application to accelerate occurs when sentencing is deferred and the person is put on probation. If the probation is adhered here to, then no sentence will be handed down. If probation is violated the court has to file an application to accelerate to have sentencing pronounced.

Application to revoke is a companion to this revoking probation.
