you will have to ask the probation officer, who can make a reomendation to the judge.

It will really vary from office to office, and state to state. In some areas, that are over booked and the crime was a minor non violent one, it is very possible. But then some probation people don't beleive in it and want you to do all the time. But it never hurts to ask and talk to them about it

You can ask for early termination, but it's at the court's discretion. They usually want to know WHY you want it terminated early. For example, a misdemeanor can often be expunged after probation terminates, so for example a person can ask for early termination so they can begin expungment proceedings for employment purposes. You should call the Public Defender's office in your area and ask for their assistance.

Here's what I'd do. Ask your PO for the written policy that declares you eligible. Write a letter to the court citing the criteria for early release, and that you meet it. Ask the judge to accept your letter as a motion for early release. Send it certified, return receipt requested. Send a copy to the prosecutor’s office, and a copy to your PO.

That should get you a hearing.
