grand theft auto

can you be charged weith grand theft auto as part of a repo? and can you be charged with it if you hide the car from the repo man? (this was done due to advice given by a lawyer) and then the car was ditched with the keys inside... what can i do? and what can i be charged with ??????

If you hid it, why did you ditch it? If all you did was fail to make the payments, then they can't charge you.

But, you're doin other stuff, aren't you? So you might be charged. I dunno. Tell me what you're doing and I'll tell you what I think.

Yes all sorts of lights buzzers and red flags, you ditched your car ???

perhaps reported it stolen and tried to get insurance to pay for it.
If so, this is criminal and you can go to jail for it.

You can hide your car from the repo man all day unless you were served with a court order to turn it over. Repo men love a good challenge, so go ahead and hide it all you want. Rememeber they still hold the title, and can always just go to court for a judgement anyway if they have to.

But then normal people when they can't pay, do the right moral thing and turn the car back in.
