Confession

Emphasis is often placed on obtaining a confession, or at least an admission, from a suspect in a criminal inquiry. Under what conditions is a confession of greatest value? Of no value?

Woomanfoo disagrees: Isn't that what this place is for? To learn things? Why just post what we have learned? That would be boring.

The confession if allowed to be used in court, is basicly the entire case, very little else needs to be done, and of course normally they would just plead guilty and it is all over.

But no Emphasis is not placed on confession, it is merley placed on gathering evidence.
