Next steps after you recieve a motion for default judgment

I recieved a letter in the mail from a law office that is requesting a Motion for Entry of Default Judgment. This is regarding a credt card debt that I did not pay, but know that I need to. (I live in Texas)

My question is what should my next step be? Can I contact the law office or the collection agency to try to make payment arangements? Seems like I read something about making payment arrangements with the clerks office is this an option?
