    If u won't pay credit card bills , will u go to jail?
    I would like to know if u won't settled a credit card bill, ill you go to jail?

    Sorry no they no longer get put in jail, the debtors prisons were closed long ago.

    Depending on where in the US you live, they can garnish your wages, they may freeze your bank accounts and even attach your belongings in a few places.

    Not likely, Not paying your debts is a civil not a criminal issue. I doubt if one would get deported unless it's a criminal issue.

    If you use the credit purposefully just toget money without the intention of paying back over 500,000.00 usd, then it is a federal crime..
