How do I transfer my school loan to a low interest credit card?

Hi,

I currently have about $19,000 in school loans with AESSUCESS and am paying 5.630% interest. I am not in default and have never made a late payment but I would like to possibly have this balance transferred to a credit card with a much lower interest.

When I called them up (AESSUCCESS), they said they dont accept debit or credit cards (probably already knowing that I want to pay off the loan and use a different lender/card)

Anyone know how I go about getting this transferred to get a lower interest.

They said they only accept a check and routing number (No CC's or debit cards)

Thanks

I dont really no but it seems weird a creditor doesnt want to accept a payment.Ive been in buisness for 29 years and i will accept any payment except if its the family cow, lol.I dont think they have a choice in the matter, the credit card company has given you the card and they dont seem to be worried about your credit or they would have never given you the card in the first place. One thing you can do is use a cheque that your credit card company issues and just cash it in and pay off your debt via certafied cheque to the student loan company, that way it looks like your paying it off cash.Check first with your credit card company because use of cheques has a higher interst rate than the card, hope this helps.
