i have an issue

What normally happens to a person who is being sued for not paying off a credit card?
I made every payment until I was in a near death accident. Now I am disabled.I contacted a company to get all my cards consolidated, but this card wouldn't allow it.I fully intend on paying them, but at the present time am unable to do so.

Any advice?Anyone go thru something similar?

If you did debt consolidation then that meant you paid off existing debts into one. Why did this one not want to be paid off ? Or am I missing something ?

this company that is suing would not accept the consolidation. So I chose to pay what I could first.I still have full intentions on paying but it is not feasible right now
