what credit card companies use equifax and experian for approval?

like to know if my fathers owed loans on his property estate. my father passed away a year ago and its in probate , what is the administrator job in the factor. The house sold for
325,000.00 there was no will so we devide it between 3 living siblings . The eldest brother filed for administrator, and claims after all the bills are paid and his lawyer that me and my other brother will walk away with a little over 10,000.00 is that sound reasonable?

I have noticed that different regions pull different reports. I live in the Northwest and the banks here seem to pull Equifax. The East Coast seems to rely on TransUnion. The southwest states seem to pull Experian.
