Collecting a debt after 11 years

I had a credit card when I was 22yrs old that I never payed. The credit card co. sold my account to a debt collector. To make a long story short my pay check is being garnished for the amount that's owed plus interest it's accumalated over the year. Is this possible? I thought after seven years your are no longer responsible for a debt, or does the seven years apply to the time it will no longer display on your credit report? |

I am currently awaiting a trial date for a Spiegel account which is being rep. By C&S law firm, the judgment was vacated. And I keep getting calls from W&A re: the same debt. I told them it was currently in court, sent them the paperwork and they STILL keep calling! Is this legal?
