    Capital One Phone Payment Fee?
    I completely forgot that my CC payment was due in a few days. If I make a phone payment on my capital one card today, will the $15 phone fee be immediately deducted from the credit card, or will it post on the closing date along with finance charges?

    I currently don't have enough on the card to cover the fee, and won't be able to pay the card off until next month. However, I plan to make the minimum payment, along with the additional $15 fee tonight, and I didn't want to acquire an over the limit fee.

    p.s. I'm not able to make a free online payment at this time. Thanks

    They will ask if you want the $15 added to your payment or to you account

    Capital one is evil, too many fees, pay it off and get another card if you can. I have one and they are horrible! But I think, THINK, that it will be added to your payment amount that you will be charged. Call cust. Service and as to be sure.

    I've heard some bad things about Capital One but I've never had a problem with my C-1 credit card. Of course I pay on time every month.

    But yes, if you have to pay a fee for making a payment then it will be added to the amount of the payment.

    Can't you go into a C-1 branch and make the payment?
