beacon score

although i don't worship the beacon score, i would still like to know what my score is occasionally...does anyone know where you can find your score without having to pay, or do you have to pay to get it?

go to a mortgage broker and pretend you want to buy a home or refinance yours. Thats pretty much the only way you can get your score fro free.

You can get one per year free from the Credit Bureaus. Here is their contact info to request it online:

While you are entiled to a free credit report each year, they are not required to include your beacon score for free--but will usually offer to sell it to you when you get your free credit report.

RickJ agrees : Awesome point!! I look at CBRs every day with beacon scores and forgot that a personal report does not show it. Thanks for pointing that out, ND!!
