where are the crafters in the Branson/Forsyth Missouri areas?

I taught arts and crafts for two years in south Central Los Angeles a few decades ago. I play at mosaicism (if there is such a word) and stained glass. Please, where are my artistically inclined brethren in Southwest Missouri? I would certainly like to meet with a few "wantabes" and just soak up each other's creative juices!

In reply to your question most Branson and Forsyth are well known for their crafts and craft fairs however due to the fact that those areas of the state get alot of seosonal traffic which starts around may then goes through the summer which tends to be best for the craft fairs and other craft merchants which seem to close up shop at the end of the season as the tourism traffic declines dramatically. However if you look hard enough you will always find someone willing to show off their artistic abilities or share their skills. If you go into the main strip of Branson and the silver dollar city area you will find a placaide of arts and crafts that extend way into december. Hope you find what your looking for and welcome to the state we natives call Misery ;-)

My husband is a professional musician and this place sort of grows on ya. Seriously, I have been to many of the crafts stores and have seen every manner of art imagined. But I ask again, where are the artists?

Ask at some of the craft stores? ask at the Chamber of Commerce? Hey!! Go to the public library and talk to reference -- they probably even have an artist directory for the area.
