Starty, you might want to read what is on the following link before doing much with your photos using VISTA as your Operating System.

Software: Windows Vista Destroys Photo Metadata

Sweet Dreams tonight and Happy Mother's Day to you also!

As my sister and I teasingly say "Kug, Kug, Hiss Hiss!" LOL We had been going through stuff at our parents house and were so extremely tired. I was leaving and was going to say, "Hug Hug Kiss Kiss!" But the words just didn't flow. It has now become our salutation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

(Just a note: I was getting ready to order a new comptuer but my son said it would come with Vista and there were several having problems. Not wanting to discourage you. He just said if I ordered a new computer, he would wipe the drive clean (if that is correct terminology as I am not a computer savvy person) and put what I have now back on it.

I don't know why the other posts are still included on the page of the link on this site.

Craig, have you tried this conversion method? I tried it. Got the image downloaded but it was not resized. What am I missing?

I have not tried it. But, will give it a try. Interesting, since it's been recommended for this site... I'll try using it and then posting something real soon in the next post on this thread.

I haven't tagged any of my pictures and in Windows Vista photo gallery I brought up picture I wanted in Microsoft Pictures manager
in the toolbar left click EDIT PICTURES
choose TASK PANE click on resize

There is a long box above the pixels box clock on it and a drop down list will have WEB SMALL [390x448?]
click on it you will see your picture change size and remember to SAVE it before exiting.
I will do another now just to get used to it. It will be on another answer though.
Glenda

This is cool! Thanks for posting the image, louisglenda! It would be good if you would share some of how the process works where you prepare and go about the decorating of the cakes. I need to be getting to bed real quick here though, so will catch you later! Thanks!

Sorry to be bombarding you with pictures but want to try this again This time it wouldn't go to the WEB SMALL size [wrong shape I think] so I reduced it using the % box and saved it
This one was just done on a piece of icing then put on the cake. I don't sell these just make them for friends and family.
